I’m a robotics researcher and development engineer. My work is interdisciplinary, spanning mechanics, dynamics, materials, and biology. I’m especially interested in:

  • Soft robotics
  • Origami design
  • Bioinspired design
  • Physical intelligence

I’ve used these concepts in a range of robotic applications, as well as non-robotic applications such as antennas, wearable machines, and medical imaging.

I’ve worked in the Harvard Microbotics Lab and the Wyss Institute, and directed my own lab at Northeastern University. I’m currently a robotics designer and systems engineer at a stealth startup, working on some unique challenges in robotic manipulation and material handling.
